The W-P football squad received its third straight Academic All-State award with a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.94. "We only use legitimate varsity players, guys with an academic track record," said Coach Tobin. "All of these guys are juniors and seniors." The honorees were rewarded with a very delicious trip to Ponderosa. The team included: Mike Tobin, Joe Stone, Tim Barnum, Eric Tunney, Wade Federspiel, Derek Stodolak, Matt Jakubik, Adam Hinkley, Carl Erickson, Kyle Dupuis, and Brad Crainer.
